The Vans Skate Rowley, introduced in 2024, is a modern iteration of Geoff Rowley’s original 1999 signature skate shoe. Designed to honor its heritage while meeting contemporary skateboarding demands, it incorporates several performance-focused features:
Upper Construction:
• Materials: Combines durable suede with leather and mesh accents for breathability and longevity.
• Design: Features internal tongue straps to prevent shifting during movement and a molded heel counter for enhanced stability.
Durability Enhancements:
• Reinforcements: Equipped with DURACAP underlays in high-wear areas and deeper knurl texture on the toe bumpers for increased protection.
• Sidewalls: Higher sidewall heights provide additional durability and protection.
Cushioning and Grip:
• Footbed: Incorporates PopCush™ footbeds for superior cushioning and impact protection, reducing leg fatigue during extended skate sessions.
