Capita SB Stairmaster 2026 – a freestyle skier's go-to board for the park and the slopes

The Capita SB Stairmaster 2026 is a modern freestyle snowboard for the rider who wants to combine park riding, slope cruising and creative trick riding into one energetic package. The Stairmaster is one of Capita's classics, updated to meet the demands of today's freestyle rider. This board offers excellent pop, controlled flex and reliable performance at a reasonable price, making it a very attractive option for both developing and advanced riders.

The SB Stairmaster is designed specifically for riders who spend a lot of time in the park, on jumps and rails, but also want a board that can perform all over the slope. The True Twin shape provides a balanced ride in both directions, and the board feels natural on switch descents. This makes the Stairmaster a great choice for freestyle-focused all-mountain riding where creativity and versatility are key.

The board's camber profile is the Park V1 Camber, which combines the power and edge grip of a traditional camber with a lighter and more forgiving feel in the tips and tails of the board. The result is a stable and energetic platform that offers explosive pop for jumps and precise control at higher speeds, but doesn't feel too aggressive when practicing tricks. The Park V1 profile makes the Stairmaster a very responsive and predictable board that rewards an active riding style.

The Stairmaster is powered by the Capitan Dual Core, a combination of poplar and beech wood. This core delivers responsive response, good energy return, and durability without unnecessary weight. The core is designed to withstand repeated park use, hard descents, and constant stress, while maintaining a light and playful feel.

The lamination structure uses Special Blend Fiberglass, a lighter and more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fiberglass solutions. This structure is reinforced with Carbon Aramid Boosters, which increase the board's pop, torsional rigidity and stability, especially on jump exits and landings. These reinforcements make the board lively and responsive, but do not make it too stiff or demanding.

The Stairmaster features a Superdrive ADV sintered sole that provides excellent glide and durability. The sole is easy to maintain and maintains its speed even on longer days of skiing. This makes the board a practical choice for skiers who want performance without the need for constant maintenance.

The Capita SB Stairmaster flexes in the mid-range, at around 5.5 on a scale of 10. This makes the board suitable for a variety of uses: stiff enough to support jumps and fast descents, but soft enough for jibbing and technical freestyle riding. The flex is balanced and predictable, helping the rider develop their skills safely and in control.

The Capita SB Stairmaster 2026 is the perfect choice for riders looking to improve their freestyle skills, jump bigger, ride the park with confidence, and enjoy the full range of possibilities on the slopes. It's a board that inspires creativity and rewards an active riding style.
